Tinea Capitis

Tinea capitis is a fungal infection which affect on scalp, eye brows and eyelashes. This fungal infection is primarily caused by dermatophytes in the Trichophyton and Microsporum genera that invade the hair shaft. Commonly this fungal infection affected on child especially boys.

Tinea or better known as ringworm is fungal infection caused by dermatophytes (skin fungi). The dermatophytes invade and feed the dead keratin of nails, hair and skin.
